President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday registered his displeasure once again over the way the service chiefs are going about the business of tackling the insecurity ravaging the country. He charged them to be more alive to the issues of security and insurgency in the country.
While addressing the state House correspondents after the security meeting held on Thursday, Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd) made it clear that the President is not particularly pleased with the security situation of the country. Speaking further with the newsmen, Monguno disclosed that the President says the best of the security chiefs are not enough considering the current security challenges the country is facing.
According to Monguno, the president is not impressed by the lack of Synergy among the security forces while charging the various security arms to Foster cooperation among themselves because the security of the nation can only be sustained through collective effort and sharing of intelligence reports.
