NUJ LAGOS CHAPTER EXECUTIVES
"We couldn't but come to say weldone for the good job you are doing for the nation. Yes, the nation, because Amuwo-Odofin particularly Festac is like a mini-Nigeria with different tribes finding the community a place to call home away from home." Says Dr. Qasim Akinreti the Nigerian Union of Journalist Chairman, Lagos State Chapter who led the delegates to the office of the Executive Chairman, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh.
The Chapter Chairman also in his speech sought the cooperation of the Mayor, Engr. Dr. Valentine to patronize its monthly journal by spotlighting the administration's accomplished projects.
Having thanked the group for finding him worthy of a courtesy visit seized the opportunity to familiarize the group with projects undertaking by his administration.
"This administration has been proactive in the war against the spread of Covid-19. We have supported the Governor in its many programmes to curb the spread. From food relief palliative to community sensitization programs.
Just recently, we concluded our specialized training for business owners to encourage them to practice all safety measures as outlined by the government and health experts." The Mayor explained.
The delegate was also taken on a tour of the construction site of the Primary Health Center.
