SANWO-OLU APPOINTS KAFILAT OGBARA AS MEMBER OF LAGOS STATE AUDIT SERVICE COMMISSION

The Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Alhaja Kafilat Ogbara as member of Lagos state Audit service commission. 

The appointment of Alhaja Kafilat Ogbara who is from Kosofe Local Government Area came about two months after the Lagos state House of Assembly rejected the nomination of Mr. Abiodun Akhigbe for the same post..

With the screening and approval of the nomination of Alhaja Ogbara as member of  Lagos state Audit service commission today by the Lagos state House of Assembly, the brouhaha which came over the rejection of the slot allotted to Kosofe Local Government Area has now been settled.

The newly appointed member of Lagos state Audit service commission is a graduate of University of Lagos with Masters in International Law and Diplomacy and another Masters in Public Administration respectively.

Alhaja Ogbara contributed immensely towards the Success of the Party in 2019 general elections as she was a Member of Lagos State APC Campaign Council. She was also the Director of the Women Directorate for Lagos East Senatorial Campaign for Late Senator Adebayo Osinowo in the same election. Where she was able to prove her ability and capabilities in Party Leadership. 

Kafilat Ogbara is a Vibrant, thorough-bred Politician and a Party person right from her early years in Politics in Lagos State and Nigeria in general where she has had the privilege of working closely with President Olusegun Obasanjo, President Goodluck Jonathan and many other State Governors when she served in different capacities on Intra- Party matters.

She is a former Gubernatorial aspirant, who has served as a Member, Board of Director on several Federal Parastatals such as Nigeria Television Authority Abuja, National Centre for Women Development Abuja, National Horticultural Research Institute, She was also a Special Assistant on Trade and Investment and Technical Aid Corps at the Ministry of Foreign affairs Abuja. She also has a Media background in Electronic  Media as a TV Presenter on Faces and Events, She is the Publisher of Today's Prime newspaper and the former Managing Director/ CEO of National Mirror Newspapers in the Print Media.

Kafilat is a loyal, dedicated and committed member of the All Progressive Congress and a strong supporter and Loyalist of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Kafilat Ogbara is happily married with children.

OYO ASSEMBLY HOLDS SPECIAL SESSION FOR FORMER GOVERNOR
